Who We Are…
Bearded Tang is an award-winning brewery formed with a focus on community. Our mascot, “Fil,” is a Blue Tang fish which are known to be very friendly and welcoming towards other species of fish. We chose Fil as the mascot of our brewery because the beer community is so interconnected and welcoming.
Brewers
Jerrod Larsen is a 13 year veteran of the Orange County brewing scene. He brings a tremendous amount of experience to Bearded Tang. He has collected numerous awards and accolades in various beer styles throughout his career. With his creative approach, he's designed dozens of unique brews over the years as well as classic style beers.
Jordan Friesen has been in the brewing industry for almost 5 years. He has played an integral role in creating unique beers that have brought home medals for Bearded Tang. He enjoys brewing lagers and west coast IPAs, which also happen to be his favorite styles to drink.
